Gear List

Welcome to Pack 32!

Say the word Scouting and one of the first images that probably comes to mind is the uniform. Uniforms were a part of Scouting from the very beginning. They both identify us as a common group and allow youth to display their individual accomplishments.

A child new to Scouting will need to obtain a uniform soon after joining. The Middle Tennessee Council, BSA operates a Scout Shop at its office at the corner of Hillsboro Road and Woodmont Blvd.  You can also buy gear online here. Many families also save money by checking with older children in the neighborhood to see if they have Cub Scout uniforms that they've outgrown and could pass on. You can also check online sites like eBay.

Eakin will allow Cub Scouts to wear their official uniform to school every day we have a meeting (Tuesdays). The Pack also has our own Pack 32 Eakin t-shirt that can be worn any day that Eakin spirit wear is allowed. Information on ordering t-shirts will be available at pack meetings.

The list of what you need to acquire depends on your Scout's grade level. A Scout patch placement guide is available here. Many families choose to use the Badge Magic product in lieu of sewing patches. This product is sold at the council Scout Shop.
